Freakin' "speed paint"?....
Good grief. Looked like a photograph in the thumbnail, and close to it in the full view.

I do tend to go a little overboard with commissions, and this was no exception, but it was still painted in a much faster way than a full painting would have been. :) Thank you!

Do you remember how long this one took?

I didn't keep track of the time, but this one took longer than it was supposed to, because it gave me quite some troubles at first. I'm not charging for my trial and error times, so my prices are based on the time the speedpaints are supposed to take. That's usually around 2-4 hours. This one probably took twice as long, maybe even longer.
I'm regarding my overworking of the speedpaints as trial and error as well, since that's a matter of practice. Lots and lots and lots of practice, so I don't mind it all that much right now. I'm primarily concerned with the results, so how fast I get there isn't as important right now, as that's going to develop almost automatically with more practice. :)

I need to start a list of the artists I'm considering for commission when I can afford it. I'm quite sure you'd be on that short list.

Oh yes, and full paintings (which I currently can't complete in a timely fashion) would take me 20-30 hours or more. Just to give you an idea why I'm regarding even a 5 hour painting as speedpaint. :D
