Some of you may have read about a "Promise" I had made that helped me get through one of the roughest times in my life. This promise was one I made with skyebluephoenix back in the early parts of 2012. It was a powerful promise. One that kept me from taking my life while also keeping me from ever desiring to make such a fatal mistake again.
The promise that Skye and I made was to ensure we never gave up on ourselves no matter how hard life got for either of us. Even if our respective life situations went downhill, or people never accepted us for who we were that we'd know we had each other to remember that life is too important to ever let outside factors bring us to make poor choices.
Skye sent me this the other day and it reminds me of how true this promise remains. Forthcoming events may be a little scary, but I have a promise to keep and I have every intention on doing so not only in the coming weeks, but for the rest of my life.

Skye is a very kindhearted and wonderful person. I'm glad we met as, honestly, I may not be here without the promise I made to Skye.
Everyone can be a hero to someone. Even if it is through the simplest of acts. You have done a lot more for me than I can ever repay you for. The most important being through your own inspiration as we wrote about Fall and her friends. Thank you, Ari. :)

Thank you, Nishi. *Snugs* It was good I was able to meet Skye so we could discuss shared feelings on our respective circumstances. The talks allowed us to bond while knowing if one could keep pressing on through what life through at them, so could the other. :)

My thoughts exactly, Skye. Our promise from years back has become a part of my "Natural Supports" and has done well in keeping me from falling as low as I once could. So thank you.
It will be nice adding this picture to my special collection. I don't have many genuinely hand drawn pieces. It'll be a wonderful part of my life forever.
