This is my character Shani Nazari, who has had a few pieces of art floating around here already--so I'm belatedly adding her full and proper ref. Featured as well in this ref is Salazar, Shani's pepper plant and traveling companion.

Shani is a South African striped hyena from a big family--seven sisters and a younger brother in total. She went backpacking and hiking up to Cairo when she was in her late teens, and after many adventures ended up traveling stateside to the US, where she continued wandering about.

Shani is quite boisterous, gregarious and friendly to a fault and loves to meet new people, try new food and embark on new adventures. She's also a fitness nut and bursting with positive energy, always eager to dole out earnest encouragement and advice to others--even if at times it may be somewhat unwelcome.

Shani is a character of mine and I'm thrilled with how she turned out with prayke's lovely art.
