I've been working on a number of character design projects with Prayke and have been really pleased with the results, and Moira is definitely no exception; she's a prohibition-era mobster commonly referred to as 'Momma' by her gang of hoodlums and nogoodniks--mostly ferrets, weasels and other flopwops in bowler hats toting thompson machineguns and causing trouble.

Moira is a basking shark who loves to bake cakes and other confectionery treats--but is honestly kind of rubbish at it. She is the sort who literally sends pies to her henchfolk in prison that have files and other tools baked into them; this isn't out of a stupidity, mind you--she just operates in a fairly comic stylized caper sort of setting in general, so it's all par for the course.

Generally gregarious, jolly and friendly, Moira is nevertheless one tough customer and quite dangerous to cross; she's frighteningly strong and her big frame belies fearsome ferocity and a deadly grip. Still, she's very much about family--with many sons and daughters and a multitude of 'adoptees': Moira commonly takes in strays and other youths and gives them a home and a family to grow up with.

Moira is the sort of big-money criminal who balances charity against her misdeeds--and in the end, isn't she just giving the people what they really want?
