Very few would go as far as to call this a weapon, this heavy, ugly and unpleasant to the touch sword is ll but intimidating, as it seems as it could fall apart in battle...
it seems to be carefully wrapped in much more recent straps of leather... by a warrior who very obviously felt otherwise.
how ancient could this piece of cold and strange metal be? the parts that are not covered in an unusal, thick, and impossible to clean rust, though opaque and splintered, are just as sharp as they must have been ages ago, they can easily cut a piece of cloth in the air, and the vast weight of the sword can crush a stone... what kind of force was able to reduce it to it's current state?
