"...Could you repeat that last part? ...And maybe the first part as well? ...And maybe the middle bit?" ^^;
OKAY, so I'm NOT the fastest note-taker. >>
This was originally going to be a little warm up doodle but I guess I decided to fluff it out into a full thingamajig because... I don't know, I'm just really exhausted right now for absolutely no reason. xD
(It could be that my dorm's heater is being weird and making it 75+ degrees but whatever.)
Anyways, I hope you enjoy!
[Probably will scrap because this isn't very good!] ^^;

I think most artists develop different working styles for what they have to “say” with their works. There is a formal style, where perhaps we try for a “realistic” depiction of the subject that shows every strand of fur realistically. At the same time we can develop a looser, more cartoony style to get across lighter maybe comedic ideas that we want to “say”.
Having both styles gives an artist more artistic flexibility.

I totally understand! This though was just a very lazy doodle that I put very little energy into because I basically had none. xD
The forced perspective on this is really weak, and I didn't do my usual "pose, repose, then detail" thing. I'm not saying that it's particularly "bad," but it's definitely not as "polished" as I try to make my other drawings.
(I made several coloring errors, made the hand holding the pencil a little small / too sketchy, and the pupils are a bit off.)
ANYWAYS, yeah, this was just a warm up before I went back to working on another piece, so I shouldn't be so hypercritical. x3
