A little worldbuilding for the Cyani; on a whim, I got to pondering with Bose and a few others the existence of the Cyani military and their related hardware. Namely, tanks! Surprisingly, the Cyani still stick to the old heavy/medium/light design doctrine. Hence, we have the Carapace Heavy hovertank! Excessively armored, heavily armed, but abhorrently slow. Powered by a fusion reactor backed up by an onboard bio-reactor that uses the three-bug crew's own honey to help fuel it (also a handy way to keep them from simply filling the crew compartment to its limits), held aloft by a series of maglev/antigrav magnetrine disks under the vehicle, equipped primarily with a heavy plasma cannon and a backup rack of AA missiles. The plasma cannon proves especially useful for Iceworlders, since you can melt your own path/fortifications with a few well-aimed blasts of high-temperature plasma!
