Hurrah, it's the first official doodle of the new year.
So while trying to get back into the swing of things, filling my sketchbook with various bits of naughtiness, I notice one of the figures sort of looking back at me. I filled it in a bit more and realized that at some point, I had begun drawing Vera's Boogle.
Not the worst thing that could have ended up in my sketchbook so I went with it. Doesn't quite do the character justice, but I thought it was fun and figured I might as well give it a post, especially since Vera's been having some computer woes. Here's hoping it brightens her day a bit.
At some point, I might do a real "color," or better yet, a real picture and not just a doodle, but here tis.

I figured I might as well. It was sort of an accidental doodle but if it can bump up someone's prize, why not? ^,^
On the side though, I am working on a story which might be my more "official" entry. Just think of me as Lazlo. I'm all entering as many times as I want, wearing my pjamas and living in closets.

Well it is a fantastic character and I have always had an obsession for clowns in general. When I was younger, I had a big circus poster in my room from my first trip to Ringling Brothers. I don't remember the trip itself, but that poster had the oddest clown on it. White with a small hat and a strange expression on his face. It was neither happy, nor sad, engaging or creepy. It just sort of watched, like it had seen every show before and would see every show since and would remain to sweep up the sawdust after the final curtain fell.
The poster got lost and I've never seen it since, not in any image search or flea market. Still, I remember it and I look, really look at clowns. If I can see the person wearing the make-up, I lose interest. But every now and then, you see the clown, wearing the person and its like the world is a mystery again.
And I loves the kitteh too.

HEEE! This is so cute! I love the pill bug idea, and the transparency with the light highlights is actually really neat. Like she's just gone invisible :) I love the boob patches and eyeball-y garter, and the centipede-y hat :D This is really lovely, thank you so much hun ^^ <3
