Actually I used a paint pen and a gel pen for the whites on this, but as far as paper goes, I've always sworn by cardstock, or the Statford/Strathford/Strathmore sketchbooks(I always ruin the covers and I'm horrible at names like that). Or any paper that's 'sturdy' feeling and has a very fine tooth/is really smooth. I've never done well with really rough paper but I know some that do? But smoother paper is better for me for smoother lines. Also the little black hardbound sketchbooks. I have so many of those just lousy with sketches XD
