Ooh, okay. I won't say anything else about them then. I loved Chapter 5's cutscenes. Blew my mind when I saw it. Probably the biggest mind blow in the game imo. Still haven't beat the story so can't say for sure. Definitely in the Top 3 for sure. No worries about getting the skell. Everyone has trouble getting all the things done. I found it annoying. But it's so worth it.
I'm aware of the Worthian. Just forgot about them when I saw this. Won't say no more other than 'the stakes have been raised to at least fifty.' And the fact no scifi series that I've seen of have done something like this with a storyline like this.
Fun little thing while I was playing the other day, one of those free reports popped up saying "Chapter 4 (2/5): 'Great, Alvin and the Ma-non'." Needless to say, I cracked up a bit.
And also, can I just say it's a little disappointing you don't get the Worthian girl to be a party member (blame the wiki)? You get two xenomorphs in your party, why not make it third one the charm (absolutely love L and the other one (don't wanna give the name in case you haven't gotten them yet) though ("Too many heads are better than one, right?" "Close enough..."))? She'd be perfect as a teammate.
Best plot twist for me at least goes to the original Xenoblade Chronicles. You think the story's gonna go one way, then it takes a turn, and then throws everything sideways. Again, don't wanna spoil in case.

Lol, no worries. I'm at the final boss fight so anything story related I already know of or experienced. Indeed. I love sci-fi and fantasy, but I've never seen anything of this scale and depth of story before. It's why I love X so much. (All Xeno games are masterpieces anyways.) The game has a lot of witty titles and achievements like that. My favorite one was the "Millionaire" achievement. Just plain and simple.
I haven't been able to find the Wrothian anywhere after Ch. 5 so I'm not sure. I know you can have them in NLA because the trailers clearly showed them walking about in the Industrial and Commercial district. It might be via an affinity mission or "Off the Record" series of missions. So I can't really confirm it. I think L can because in some scenes he's shown wearing dual blades. (or a rifle, I forget since it was a quick scene.) But I think I know who you're talking about. For sure there's other races besides the ones you meet doing the story. I found two doing regular missions. So they're probably unlocked randomly. (or wandering the districts. it feels so random at times. I know I want the cute catgirl who's friend with a rock on my team. Or at least someone from that race. I'll even take their clothing/armor.)
Agreed. I mean I only got through half of the Wii one, but it is so good. Kind of weird how the Wii one is considered Fantasy while X is Sci-Fi.

Yeah that's what they promised before it came out that there'd be a handful of races you encounter, and judging by the lack of complaints I'd say they delivered there. And plus funny little bits like the fact Tatsu's dad's glasses are from Gurren Lagan. "Pierce the heavens!"
And X is a spiritual successor to Xenoblade. Not the same universe but the mechanics are the similarity. I think Lin's hairpins being the Monado are what made people curious if this was connected, but personally I think it's a nod/a sign you'll like this game as well as the original.
