I think the proportions you used are really good. Some part of me wishes the Horse had been drawn standing so I could see the gravity effect pulling on all the horse but it's just too cool as it is. All of the folds and dents add so much reality to the picture, such as the hood of the stomach, the hip, and the posterior. Also the background and foreground pattern and coloration really are great. My first thoughts were of some sort of party scenario so if that's what you were going for it worked.

Obviously I -could- have done standing, but it's far more interesting to mix it up every once in a while! See different angles and poses, there's lots of standing weighty horses to be found already (quite a bit in my gallery!), so I wanted to try something different that still showed a great deal of stuffed weightiness X3
