After having Blender for so long now, and not really doing much with it, I finally dropped one of my sketchup models in it to see what I could do, and after having familiarized myself more with its inner workings I'm rather impressed!

I should have experimented with Blender ages ago, but ehh... better late than NEVER!

In truth I haven't really done much with my PonySona Creamypie the alicorn... well not too much on the poly-mesh level anyway, but I have experimented with using Sub-Surface modifiers to smooth out SketchUp's rather blocky moderate poly export and turned it into a more smooth and organic looking model which we see here.

Along the way I learned how to pick background colors for my renders to export, as well as how to position the lights for custom shadows. The textures were basic which can be noted with any lack of detail to Creamy's eyes, however I'm now currently learning how to import textures into Blender and manipulate them on the objects~ UV~ so I hope to get my photoshop skins for her eyes placed and positioned soon. =D
