This is the Fifth of eight stain glass windows for a temple I'm building in Second Life. The eight stain glass windows tells the story of Hakooji, the chipmunk who stood up against the Bear to cast his fateful vote for day. In this window The Bear who's bid for night having been foiled by Hakooji's vote for day exacts his revenge upon the chipmunk. Slashing deep cuts down the Hakooji's back with his sharp claws the Bear kills the chipmunk. From hence forth all chipmunk bare the scars of Hakooji in the form of stripes running down their backs.

The more I look through your gallery, the more I find inspiration for the hymns and a greater understanding of your tribe's culture. I now know how the chipmunk got its stripes. Maybe I should try joining you on SL one day, and see it all myself. Great work Tamias, it is really exciting to continuously discover new things about your chipmunk culture in your gallery.
