I'm a huge fan of the work of the late Dan DeCarlo. So while perusing the Sketchbook That Time Forgot, I came across this old line art I did about 10 years ago. Some clean-up and coloring in Photoshop and -- viola! -- "new" fan art is created.
For the uninitiated, this is Alexandra Cabot and her sneaky pet cat, Sebastian, from the animated TV series Josie and the Pussycats.

It wasn't the greatest cartoon series ever made, but it was a notch above most due mainly for the cute character designs and exceptionally appealing pop music (a "Josie and the Pussycats" album was released at the time).
One episode in particular might appeal to furry TF fans: "Plateau of the Apes Plot" features a mad scientist bent on turning people into animal slaves. In typical H-B fashion, however, his transformation device was permanently stuck on "ape" (why these mad scientists never seem to pick any other species is beyond me). However, Alexandra's brother, Alexander, was briefly turned into a chicken, and Sebastian momentarily morphs into a dog and a saber-toothed cat during the obligatory "wacky musical chase scene."
Recently, Cartoon Network paid tribute to the series with "Josie and the Pussycats in Musical Evoltion":

Another great cartoon bt hanna barbra.And i know alot of people turn there nosses up at HB animation.And that really p.o. me.Because if it hadn,t been for these 2.Cartoons might stayed at the thearters.They started the ball rolling and made satuenday mornings.And there animation floed pretty well.Take melody on the drums.Very smooth animation.And the late dan d.I wished i have meet the man.He belong by side such as Bill Hanna Joe Barbra,Chuck Jones,Jack Kirby,To name a few.May the good lord rest there souls.Because they made the world a little bit brighter.
Actualy My Favorite Girls From The Series Were The Pussy Cats Included Jossie! But You Gives Her A Touch Of Cuteness What I Can´t Denied! Very Interesthing And Thanks For Your Visit In My Deviant!
