Second painting of the Fall '08 semester. An artist emulation. I chose Georgia O'Keeffe because I liked her deer skulls floating in the air, representing life and death, and nature. Her pieces were personal and emotional.
This piece is personal for me as well. I chose to use a wolf skull because of the spiritual beliefs I have, and the Iris represents faith, loyalty, friendship, and someone who is special to me. The mountains in the landscape are part of the Sleeping Giant Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada, where I met that special someone.
