SilverKitsu ; This is my first attempt to strike into the foray of pixel animation and I love it! There's a lot of work involved (hence future pieces will be much smaller scale than this one, most likely individual animated pixel sprites).
I chose this piece since it is over my comments on it that got me in touch with he who'd become my longest running friend and I think he deserved something for 2 reasons.
1;putting up with me for this amount of time
2; to this day the style in this piece with it's minimal color palette then and now strikes me as quite special by providing a near surreal and somber atmosphere that I don't often see now-a-days, at least not as well represented in color choices. To me it seems like the environment is part of the scene and not just a backdrop where the scene takes place. This I personally feel is very often lacking in other pieces and I did like it as much then as I do now, that said the artwork for the character itself is not up to par with his current skills since it is almost a 8 years old by the time of this submission.
