Ghost Story: Game time! Flyers
"Would the racers in the flight section of the tournament, please meet by the racers area," a loud voice came over the big speakers.
"Finally!" Blur ecxlaimed, stomping her glass down on the bar. She had been in the bar since they had parted ways earlier, and was keeping her profile low until i twas time to actually race. She was also quite successful. Not many people who were in the race. went into this bar; of course with the content of it, one wouldn't blame them. But that was behind her for now. She rose from her seat and brushed herself off before leaving her payment, and tip for the tender, before heading out.
The track wasn't very far from where she was a patron, she made sure of that. So it didn't take her very much time to get there at all. She had made it to the 'boards' locker and got out her wake board from the rest, before tucking it under her arm, and walking towards teh starting place. When she reached where the rest of racers were, she dropped her board into position, and stepped on the end with her foot, catching few's attention.
"Yush. New year, a new barrel of fun," she said more to herself than anyone, reaching for an unseen headband beneath her bangs, and pressing a button, a magenta visor suddenly appearing over her eyes, turning to her right to find the two tailed fox there. "Hello Miles. Nice to see ya again."
"Heya there, Brittnay!" he piped, rather cheerful this day.
She then turned to her left, to find a somewhat new player, and nods in her direction. "Wave."
"Hmph," she returned, crossing her arms. "You and shortie just try and stay out of my way, okay?"
Blur shakes her head; same old wave. She looked further down the line to find a bunc more racers, a seldom familiar face looking back at her, and she smiles back at the echidna. "Good luck. All of ya."

I love the way you combine your talent for Sonic fanart with an admirable storytelling ability, not to mention novel and attractive characters that are just as intruiging as the licensed characters they appear alongside. It makes each work more engaging than they would be alone, and leaves us eagerly awaiting the next installment. Keep up the awesome work!
