Maybe this is a sign that I'm no longer quite so burned out on drawing dragons. Or perhaps it's just because the recipient is so very sweet, and I knew I'd paint him one eventually, regardless. I'm pleased with how this came out. Watercolors.

The first thing that caught my attention was the pose; it's so angular, yet the smoothness of the its lines makes a nice contrast. So unique! It's so different than all the other dragon pictures I've seen. Very nice. :)

welcome. Does the dragon have a gender? For some reason, to me, it looks like the eyes and snout give the dragon a feminine look.

It's sometimes hard to tell with dragons, but the recipient of the pic is a male, so I sort of assumed that the dragon in the picture is also male. Either way, I suspect that the creature isn't telling. <G>
