It was a long New Years night for Goldie. She was invited to a town party by a majority of the townsfolk, wanting her to celebrate with them. She did think about it long when she got back from Christmas with her parents and brother. She did think it over for the past couple days and decided it would be best for her to go... Except... She had to watch some kids as the parents were to also celebrate the new year. So she declined the offer and stated she was busy instead. When some pokemon heard, they were rather unhappy to hear and just felt bad seeing such a calm legendary still care for children on such a night.

So on New Years Eve, as she was busy making cookies or outside with the kids as they played with snow. She did think she saw some of the adult pokemon that usually stay in town then out and about. Maybe it was just the New Year and they were going around to party with friends. She didn't think much of it. Later as the day went on, she kept seeing things that were rather off, but she decided it as just New Years released events.

As the night came along, she set the kids asleep, and then again it was odd. The kids didn't look tired but wanted to sleep. She decided if they wanted to, she didn't want to stop them. As she went to the main living room for her, she did sit on the couch and watched the programming for the new year, letting out a sigh. But she didn't know that the kids in the other room have planned with their parents to surprise Goldie with a New Years party. After some time she heard some ruffling and went to check on the kids, she slowly opened the door and turned on the light to be blasted with a loud surprise. Shocked and surprised she almost bursted into tears never expecting such a surprise. But it was one she wasn't going to forget.

It was a long night for everyone there, even the kids. They ate cookies as Goldie made them for all her guests, she was given gifts from the townsfolk for Christmas, varying from supplies, toys and even some home decorations for her to use. She had tears of joy a majority of the night, the most she's cried in years. And as the night dragged closer to midnight, they decided all to have sparking grape juice and countdown to zero. And once it came, they all celebrated, cheered and some of the couples kissed. Goldie, well she hugged al the kids instead of kissing anyone. Thats what she loved more then anything at that first minute of the New Year.

As the night went on, the families slowly left with their kids as they fell asleep in their arms, leading to around 3 AM when all had left the premises. The place was messy, laced with party popper debris, and some towels of wiped clean spills. Goldie was told by some of the parent they'll come back and help clean, but she said she could do it tomorrow when she wakes up and open the daycare a day later. Goldie did get exhausted, never expecting to have so much fun, but she was running on fumes as she went to bed, setting her party hat down and laying back on her bed, and covering herself with a large blanket from her brother that got too small for him, she slumbered for hours...

Until sometime into the night, she wasn't aware of what was gonna happen. She snoozed, unknown of something going on within her. She snoozed and after each breath of her breathing, her belly would expand and deflate with air, until it started staying expanded. She stirred and hasn't realized what was going on, her belly expanding out with each breath. After several minutes, she stirred, her large wing arm sliding a bit off her stomach. She opened her eyes slightly, thinking she heard something, but maybe she was imagining or dreaming. She looked around and saw nothing, wondering if anything was happening. She looked down at herself and at first was confused, but soon realized that something was wrong, she noticed her stomach had expanded out and still expanding as she breathed heavier. Maybe it was all a dream, maybe she was breathing incorrectly, maybe she didn't know how much she ate, she thought that... But it was certain what it was... After she felt a kick...

"I'm... I'm pregnant....?"
