Phyll's life was as a young seed that accidently got mixed up with regular flower seeds. He comes from the same adventurer filled universe that Urnest, Snozy, and Ev are from. He was planted by a family of humans who owned a flower shop. When Phyll grew he became part of their family despite being a monster. He helped look after the shop together. Rather small at the time he learned plant care and over time started to take up gardening and inventing his own plants. Things were great, but over time Phyll's instincts took over. One day looking after the shop a small ill tempered child snuck off and began vandalizing the shop. Phyll took charge and tried to stop the kid only to overpowered. In a sudden rage Phyll's instincts took over and he devoured the kid with a quick gulp. When Phyll calmed down he panicked for a bit looking at what he done. His belly moved for a bit and he enjoyed the feel. No one noticed what had happened and in little time Phyll's belly shrunk back to normal. Phyll enjoyed this new experience and decided to use it to protect his family and their shop, but it would not last. Phyll had gotten much bigger from his living meal and the food his family would give him wasn't enough. One day Phyll lost control and ended eating the entire family that took him in. Saddened by this he tried to take care of the shop himself, but it didn't take long for other humans to realize something was wrong and he ran away. With no home and still grieving Phyll returned to just being a regular monster for a number of years. One day he managed to gobble up an incredibly fat monster and was caught by surprise by another one who literally inhaled him shortly after. Instead of becoming fat for the creature he was offered a special deal. Reformed and now having the power himself he quickly became friends with Blobbledee and Loui whom he found out were both very young monster eaters. They planned make Phyll a gift for someone they really liked. He was given away to a large plant creature like himself and quickly fell in love with her. The beautiful plant creature named Lilian was less then overjoyed...

Phyll now works along side Lilian and her greenhouse/room/store. Phyll can be a goofy at times and is very kindhearted. Trying to make up for past mistakes he does all he can to impress Lilian and hopefully go from disgusting weed to possible friend and Lilian's eyes. He often tries to make his own special plants to sell but so far hasn't much luck perfecting anything yet. Despite Lilian's strong desire to turn Phyll into permanent plant food Phyll was specifically hired by Prinny GBA in order to help his daughters business and self issues. He has cartoonish like features which include leaf like hands, his left eye is bigger than the other, has three hairs on his head, can gobble up prey significantly bigger prey and hold then in his mouth before swallowing, and the bulb in his pot is his belly. Its extremely thick so one sounds can ever be heard coming from inside and vice versa.

Planted Pots are hostile carnivorous plant creatures who are usually planted by the monster known Pot Planter. Pot Planters are always female and are rooted to the ground so Pot Planters make Planted Pots who grow up to move around and defend their territory and specifically their "mother." They usually live in dense jungle areas and feed off of soil nutrients and weak adventures.
