Fursuit heads are really ugly without ears, nose, eyes and jaws. They look very un-proportional. But I swear It'll look better once I start gluing on more parts.

Does that mean, the heat inside the head is also reduced?

The head has a small computer fan in the nose that pushes hot air out. Also, because the head is only 1-ply of carbon, there is alot of pores in the carbon fiber weave. I'm hoping this'll help with cooling, also.

It's still interesting to see what amounts to the skull structure of a fox blown up to human size. It's missing the cheek ruffs and ears and all but the proportion of muzzle to skull and the brow ridges show you have paid a lot of attention to skull shape.

The biggest challenge is to get a human head into a fox head. The advantage of carbon fiber is that its thin, and unlike foam, it doesnt need to be 1" thick to maintain its shape. I'm working on the lower jaw now.
