I wanted to try drawing another dragon in a bit more of a realistic style, and this little guy came into being. This is Tanwyn, a young western dragon with an elven-halfling rider named Siomon.
In Tanwyn's world, dragons are a semi-common sight, but are extremely secretive. Much like a deer, you may see one, but it is very difficult to get close. Because of this, some of the less-educated farmers believe that dragons are no more intelligent than a deer or livestock, and should be treated as such. Over the decades, this caused much conflict between the races. Dragon hunting became a popular sport, and stories of dragons raiding townships and kidnapping became more and more common. Soon, the dragons all-but disappeared, and the villagers believed they wiped them out.
This is where Siomon comes in. Siomon, a elven-halfling, stumbled across a small cavern, which housed a young, starving dragoness and two eggs, while harvesting ingredients for his master's apothecary.
(WIP~ More to come later. Hopefully I can make it less cheesy and sounding like Eragon.....)
