My American Flyer S-gauge model train has been in my family since 1951. My father made it a tradition to set it up every year at Christmas time and I try to carry that on. With the exception of a few small enhancements (such as a modular platform and more realistic looking trees) this is just how Dad assembled it every year.
This time lapse compresses approximately three hours of effort into eight minutes.
I promise this is the last model train submission for a long time.
Oh, and you will catch a few glimpses of a somewhat younger UrsusArctos at work.

Thanks, Hyper. Yeah, the train and houses have all been part of it since before I was born. The cars are slightly newer (I played with those as a kid). The trees and shrubs were added about 3 or 4 years ago. It amazes me that it all still works so well. The only casualties have been the train whistle and the music box mechanism in the church.
