An art piece I'm going to put up for adoption. The person this was ment for... well... basically told me it wasn't worth the trade value she wanted, after it was finished. Overall, I got nothing for the work I provided... other then being told my art wasn't worth the time or effort for this individual to put up artwork of her own in exchange.
If someone wants her, I'm willing to trade her. I'll fix and straighten the image so it's usable. She currently has no name.
She'll be put up for adoption as is, sorry.

If you broke the law would you think the police were in the wrong to arrest you?
People need to be held responsible for their actions in my opinion.
I'm usually not like this (you know that) but when people do shit like that it really gets under my skin.

Sorry to say this, but whoever that was / is is a bitch. If you agree to an art trade you do the trade. It's a not only moral thing to do, but also an obligation and courteous thing.
Honestly Knurlnien - I don't care what art they make or what it looks like, I'd take yours over theirs any day. Judging by the kind of person they are they do art as a pass time, not as a passion - and even if their result "looks better" (which I doubt), yours has a passion and drive behind it, making yours 10x more valuable to any real artist.
To put something into perspective - I would rather trade a piece of art that I worked my ass off on to someone that can barely draw a stick figure, but who tries their absolute best and loves drawing that stick figure than to anyone that holds themselves on a higher scale than anyone else. Art is art. There is no better or worse, no tier system and no hierarchy.
This (as it sits) will be an incredibly easy trade, and honestly, probably a very easy sell if you were to color it. People LOVE red pandas almost as much as DADs.
So all in all, don't worry about people that act like children and think they're better in any way / shape / form than you are - CLEARLY they aren't a better person - and they clearly won't put their art up to "their test" either, so it can't speak for itself. Sounds to me like a childish person just wanted a freebie.

The artist in question, as I remember it, or rather her art... wasn't exactly breath taking, rather it was passable at the time the arrangement - agreement was made, which was when I first joined FA. Afterwards, I disappeared in due cause. I mean, this person made me feel like crap through her actions. Not because she ditched on our deal, but by what she said regarding what I provided.
After some time, I just sucked it up, and rejoined FA. Keeping in mind that there's individuals like her out there... thus a valuable lesson was learned. Overall, it is what it is, a botched deal. As I stated, I hold no hatred towards this person, only pity. If anything, her loss will be someone's gain.

I will never understand why people who consider themselves grown act like such horribly spoiled children... I'm so sorry this happened to you. It seems like the kindest souls get the worst luck with such things :c
Sounds to me like that artist wasn't mature enough to handle a trade, not to mention having some seriously lacking consideration-anybody who's ever put any love into their work should understand the staggering AMOUNT finished pieces take, especially non personal ones.
I'm so glad you didn't decide to leave furaffinity over such an ass (sorry donkey sona's out there) and I'm sorry such a darling little creature has to be associated with such unfairness to you :(
I'm not sure what you'd like in exchange for her... but she is absolutely lovely. The way you drew her eyes and those cheek stripes is captivating♡
