was looking through FA, and saw someone drawing goji fanart....soo.....welll..........i ended up trying my hand at drawing Anguirus. Dont know why, but other than gigan, he was one of my favs of the showa era. So yeah....ended up drawing him...and man was it a headache XD. used all three versions of him *excluding what i thing is a 2018 model of him* and i think i focused on the 69/70 version of him.....which, from what i could tell, differed in a slight head shape, tail *sorta* and eye color. should have just stuck to one i guess. but yeah. anguirus! XD

The model you recall is actually a cancelled 2001 model of him from GMK. Baragon, Varan, and Anguirus were going to oppose Godzilla (hence why Godzilla was scripted to be so much more powerful).

Yeah, after trying your hand at them, you learn just how hard these artists jobs are who have to keep coming up with new, practical monsters for suit makers to make and actors to use.
