Yeah I drew Vivian again XD sue me . . .
"How do I look? I haven't worn regular clothes in years, but, look! They still fit!" It was an awkward pose that found a companion in Vivian's enthusiasm.
"You look just lovely, sweety! That small touch of blue is just so precious!" An orange-haired harpy replied.
"Umm. You may want to buy some new clothes in the market. Maybe something longer?" Vivian's wolfen associate nervously voiced an opinion that did not echo the harpy girl's.
But Vivian saw no problem as she looked down at her leggings, "They look long enough to me.", and headed off.
Tales of the Merchant City of Shakan did little justice to what Vivian stood before. So massive and brimming with shops and commerce from all races, all beckoning Vivian to spend the sizable cache of money she had acquired during her service to The Guild. Her service ribbons earned also ensured free license to move around the city and even purchase weapons.
Three days she had been granted by her commander to do with as she wanted. Vivian had planned on making good use of those three days for training, but her commander insisted that she relax, have fun and explore Shakan.
Before arriving she'd made out a list of items that she had interest in procuring: New clothes, buckles and belts for her combat outfit, possibly a new bead for her braid and sets of models for her tactical map. Vivian was hoping to score a deal that would allow her to add to the Ramm and Dragon models she currently had. Last on the list was a book detailing Rodencian Military Etiquette. All previous merchants she had visited were sold out. Perhaps she would have more luck here?
'No more daydreaming.' She dashed into the market. Stopped every once in a while by a guard asking to see her service ribbons, and came away from each of them in surprise that she had managed to acquire every one; it was a relief that the guards in Shakan were not so rude as those in Wolfen lands. They almost seemed friendly, each from different races. She supposed one would have to be jovial to live in a place as mixed as this. Vivian was really starting to like The Market City.
