Rescued a quail from the jaws of death (aka my kitten ninja) All her back feathers have been torn off and she can't fly right now. So gave her antibiotics last night (That I use for my parrot) and getting her strenght back up :) she made it through the night and I've already made contacts for her to be moved to a better place for her to be released again. So it sounds like she's mine till friday! I have named her Bobbie. She makes the cutest lil dawoop noises. Will likely update later with pics of her re-release when it happens (And if I can get them)

From what I can tell she's a californian quail ( and yes it's female the males have black and white colourings) Which as far as I know are not native to washington beyond the release/planting efforts.
