The island in which the hounds live. This is there home and prison at the same time. They were created to only function on this land and no where else. The only way they can have true freedom is to side with there enemy who is unspeakably evil and the hounds want no part in helping him, so in spite of there of all odds they have banded together to defeat there nemesis and live on the island in peace.
