Finished this one up, which I started on Christmas day this last Friday. I ended up changing Tarkus's face in both this submission and the sketch ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/18613768/ ). Made him less "grandpa who's just happy to be alive and with family and ready to tell a story about the war" and more "Tarkus" :3 For history's sake, here's the old one: https://twitter.com/LindseyBurcar/s.....11965892018176

UPDATE: Dex wrote an AMAZING poem for this oh my gosh! READ IT:
't Was the morning of Christmas, and all through the lair
All the creatures were stirring, including the bear.
The presents were mounded 'round the dragon of greed,
As he wondered if there was yet more he'd receive.
The Umbra was toasty, all warm in her clothes
The incredible gift had her squealing in throes!
Suunto was excited for the next generation,
As his insulin levels cried out for salvation!!
In triumph and glory, the prize now was his,
The human was sated, "I don't even care what it is!"
Happily indulging, the bear chugged some brew,
While comfortably filling a chair meant for two.
And down on the ground in a seat 'fore the fire,
Sat the author who drew up this art we admire.
And how is it cuteness and delight can so grow,
from the singular puppy who so stole the show!!
