Another midnight private venture with gimp

The colour is done in ligne claire-ish style reminiscent of Herge's artwork, most notably on his iconic work Adventure of Tintin, though this one have significantly more details and less vibrant colour. I admire this style for its simplicity in colouring, but it require some knowledge in colour palette to achieve a decent result, for this one i picked the colours directly from Herge's artwork (except for the RLM75/76 camo).

You see Herge is also fluent in drawing mechanical subject, shown in his depiction of vehicles in his comics and notably the depiction of Qantas V-jet 707 and Garuda DC-8 in 'Flight 714 to Sydney' which, although drawn in small panel, still capture the correct profile of both aircraft
