I like to use my Christmas cards to celebrate the unsung heroes of everyday life. And in 2015, crisps (potato chips to my American friends) had more of an influence on the world than any other snack food.
Whether it be the traditional sliced and crisped potato, a more unconventional crisp like the stackable Pringle, or something that doesn't contain potato at all like the controversial Dorito, crisps touch our lives in so many ways. I think it's important at this time of year to reflect on the crisps of years past.
As you share crisps with loved ones this holiday season, remember all they have done for you. Perhaps you proposed to a loved one with a ring hidden in a crisp packet. Maybe you were reunited with an estranged father when you saw a man enjoying a bag of your favourite flavour crisp. Whatever your story, crisps mean so much to us all.
