So, while at work today I was thinking about an idea I had with an Animating Method...This is after about an hours work, short but sweet, and I'm actually quite surprised at it o.o I've been thinking for a little bit now of wether to get into Flash work or not, though animating has always required a bit too much patience for my liking...What do you guys think? I like how this looks, but considering it;s only short, I'm not sure how much I'm up for making something longer, or more detailed (Eg, full body movements, etc.)

Actually I think the Third of the series had Jak with his Dark and Light form, and they perfected the Eco and Weapon system issues in the second. Also I believe it had more variety of everything in that one title, Platforming, Vechicles, 3rd person Shooter all rolled in one package.

really looks great. I'd say don't give up on it.
The big issue with doing flash animation I can see is that, yes it's a LOT more work to produce one single animation, but it does usually make for a MUCH better submission. It's just a question of how much work you're willing to put in.

I certainly think that it was a good animation. But thinking about you and the amount of time it would take, I'd leave it up to you if you want to try and make more animations. You're work will always be good though Ranger, do what you feel is more your style or comfortable for you.
this is pretty kool it's got great movement so far like you said short but sweet and i agreed with it fully if you get into it it's probobaly be a good thing to get into. it's takes a while to animate things but. just look at how many people appreciate it afterwards! usually alot! you keep up the great work : }
