Since Anjel made one, I also made my very own sparkledog. I coloured it a bit in Photoshop but got bored, let's just say she can change colour based on her mood? :P
Name: Ariadne Akasha RicheyEdwards Blackstar
Her markings are a broken heart on her shoulder, stars and leopard spots on her rump, three stripes on her back, a tear drop on her cheek, and a big X over where her heart should be. She's a very emotional girl. She has little floating wings but they are tattered and bleeding, they ALWAYS bleed. So don't forget the blood. And she has piercings on her wing, 2 rings and 1 stud. She has three tails and each one is different. YOU MUST GET ALL OF THESE RIGHT OR I WILL BLOCK YOU.
Likes: Glitter, dark music, poetry of Sylvia Plath, George Orwell novels
Dislikes: Her broken heart :C People who criticise her music, POSERS!!!

The sparkledogs refer to a "genre" of furry art...the girls, usually aged 12-21, who draw horrendous canines with really bad anatomy (huge long cartoony limbs, skinny body and muzzle, tiny little paws are part of the style). They're always in eyewatering multicolours or pukey pastels, and have LOTS of accessories. Loads and loads and loads. They have My Little Pony esque markings. Wings. They shit rainbows (it can only be assumed).

It's actually kinda sad, some of them are really damn good artists. I'd never honestly be able to limit myself to drawing non-anthro dogs over and over and over with mainly just different colour schemes. Variety is, after all, the spice of life. They just took a different direction on it XD

I think she's planning on taking some more later in january. :) And I definitely don't think your character would look any sillier than mine. :D
As for the sparkledog artists, yep, they do tend to hang around dA - and there are a few who could actually be decent artists. But hate to say, a lot of them seem to need to grow up a bit first. XD I guess it's cooler drawing My Little Puppies when you're a scenester teen...
