Again, not quite what I was expecting, but really who ever does get that in the Species Xchange? Still, a Hydra is nothing to complain about, and I was rather happy to take on the challenge. I'm not the proudest over how this came out... I couldn't decide if I should go with my normal style (which I inevitably did) or a classic Greek art style (would have taken five minutes and seemed unfair) when I started the sketch, so because of that the final project suffered... I can't tell you how many times I've screwed myself over with haste in the beginning stages of my sketches. But oh well, it's something to work on. And this doesn't look abysmal by any means, so that's something good. I guess.
I think what really killed this is I used a pen one size to big to detail. I need to start using .005s again... :/
Anyways, this was a fun first round! I'm glad I joined this little project. Looking forward to seeing what the rest of my peers come up with (including my very generous gift of a fox squirrel... I will not be so gentle next time!!!)

Anyway, I was going to join the species exchange. I sent them a note and my suggested species to add to the list was a Mongolian Death Worm.

I guess I have a hard time taking these things seriously.
It also appears that three of your heads are having a conversation (or at least listening to the one guy talking) while the other heads could care less.

That's honestly the only way I remembered you were in the xchange- I recalled wondering what a Mongolian Death Worm was and why I didn't get it when I was browsing through some of the other species choices.
But yeah, I actually have no idea what the procedures for this thing are supposed to be. I've just been doing what you suggested: Noting them with a link to my piccy when I was finished and including my choice for the next round along with it. And remember the next round is a theme round for burrowing creatures! So... yeah, you probably should have saved that worm.
