Bleh, blame my laziness for taking so long with this well at least I managed to finally get it out. Also I apologize if this is short, I'm still not good with writing long chapters, anyway I hope you enjoy it. :3
Fun Fact: The design of Light's scarf is loosely based off the Defense Scarf Chimchar wears in the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time/Darkness special. Aquila's is the same except of course it's blue. ^^
Also if you haven't already go check out the people who inspired me to start this series. I already listed them in the Prologue so go ahead and have a look. Have a good day everybody! ^w^

I'm interested, just hope revive seeds aren't going to be always the go to deus ex machina for saving an eatin character.
It's a nifty way to save a character but... feel like it's over done with mystery dungeon type stories. What's the point of having vore feel like a bad thing if everyone can just revive themselves with no down sides? Might as well just make it a world were being eatin is common/okay and not a scary thing. That being said if the seeds are used sparingly in such a way where the loss of said item could lead to more drama and interesting plot development then that could lead to an fun story ^^
I know my prejudice with vore leans towards fatal vore more often but I don't mind safe vore either. It's just when you have a setting and story that leans towards the former but then at the end it's more towards the latter that the story becomes un interesting to me. It's like going through a haunted house and making all the characters think they are in danger only to have the people running the house pop out and say "surprise it's just a show" and all the while us the viewers knew they were just in a fake haunted house in no real danger so any sense of them being in conflict is lost.
Conflict creates interesting stories (porn, vore porn, or any stories really), vore in a general sense always creates conflict, giving a cure all to that conflict in a story about vore is pretty much killing the conflict thus killing the interest. Having a character die from vore, even if it's just once, will create a sense of reality and weight even if all the main characters still get out of it okay. That's why even in silly go lucky shows like Doctor Who side characters die ALL the time and certain stories are actually quite tragic when you lift the veil of whimsy and comedy. Even though we're sure the main characters wont die it still makes the situations feel tense and full of conflict and drama. Even though the doctor has a magical cure all in the form of deus ex space timey whimey , you still feel interested in their conflict and drama and the lingering threat of plunger wielding aliens of death.
That's just my thoughts though and in no way does my opinion mean you should do what I say x3 but if you share in my thoughts then hopefully this helps~ Or maybe you already had planed to work your story around like I've mentioned in which case awesome XD

I understand what you are trying to say and I respect it. I do plan to use them sparingly as you said so there actually is going to be danger for the characters. This is just the beginning so I'm going for a light hearted and safe approach but later on I hope to make things more interesting and not use Reviver seeds often. ^^
Thank you for sharing your words, I appreciate it and will keep it in mind. ;3

Yes, somebody else who agrees me!
Frankly, revival seeds are basically a one up which are always easily available for the main characters. Any situation where the character you're rooting for cannot lose is a boring one. It would be like reading a superman comic, except nobody has kyptonite, the job would be done with in 10 panels. No chance of loss therefore very boring.
There are a few solutions to this, with the latter being one I'll use if I ever get around to writing something:
1. Revival seeds are super dooper rare, and therefore mega expensive
2. Revival seeds can't bring you back to life, they work like revives in the main game.
3. Revival seeds don't always work
4. There is a large downside to using them, such as you get a large dose of amnesia, or your psyche is damaged for a very long time (dying is nasty)
All of these can create tension, as they all make revival seeds unreliable.

As I read this, I'm being reminded of a prologue of a story I've had in the works for quite a while now. (the prologue mostly takes place in the the world [or in the case of my story, the post-apocalyptic time-line in which the human race went extinct] of mystery dungeon. It also begins with the main protagonist of the story dieing by the hands of her son who was turned into an XD and ordered to attack her, and ends with the exploration team that is the main focus of the prologue having come to the past and finding said protagonist just in time, but not before rescuing a Manaphy Egg a couple days prior. From there, the story takes place in a version of the pokemon universe with many differences from the original)
