I don't ever change the size of my inking pen, not even for chibis. That's just my personal preference.

I don't really stick to a standard haha. I think the smallest I usually work at is 1500. I kind of eyeball it depending on the amount of detail I need in a piece.

I usually work around the same just cause its my default canvas, but then I crop it after sketching so it'll change.
I usually work pretty big in case of printing. Have you ever printed your work at those sizes? If so, did it turn out OK? I might be making it bigger then needed (though I do also like those sizes).

You should! I pretty much never print, but I always worry I'll want to and it'll be too small, plus commissioners may print it. But working smaller should work fine for regular printed paper, hm~
That's actually what I sketch on all the time haha Crop, then usually shrink the image to be max 3000 (though refs may be a bit larger sometimes, usually just to give room for text/extras).
