I always pronounce it like 'yay' for the "Jä" bit of Jägertinger. I have like NO knowledge of the German language though >.>

From what I was taught in Bavaria they pronounce Jaeger like Yeeger, it's probably different in received pronunciation or any more commonly heard German accents. And as well as that the way I personally pronounce (and intern the way I'd break it down into pronouncing it in english) might be a bit different cos of my northern accent. All rather confusing :V
