This dragon tail commission also included a request for a piece to extend up the back. It took fiddling to get the attachment working, but I’m happy with how it turned out. The person this is going to is a bit taller than me, but I still need to shorten the back piece by a bit, it’s overlapping the tail more than intended.

I did really enjoy this pattern. It was a really mixed up mottled pattern, not just the mottled-stripes sort of design I’ve done a bunch of times. I should come up with a good descriptor for it and offer it as a standard option.

I had to take this as the light was fading, so the lighting is bad and you can’t really see the straps. But it’s worn like a backpack. Also I was rushed and managed to get the tail all twisted up. Oh well.
