Indeed. Oggr'Ng'auff, whose name roughly translates to Bad-Eyes Weakling, is a short, thin female gnoll outcast who essentially had to run for her life. Scavenging from old battlefields, she came across an arcane lore-experts "reader helmet" which contained several different types of lenses on jointed metal wires. Oggr discovered she could look though some of the lenses and see clearly, so she modified (broke and reset) it to fit her head. Later on she found out two of the lenses allowed her to understand funny marks on archment, and thus becan to read things and understand at a rapid rate.

Oggr'Ng'auff is still convinced she is a useless weakling who will never amount to much or get a mate, still she has no problem with talking. In fact some of her greatest converstations are when she's either chewing out some species or talking about something she knows absolutely nothing about. :)

mind if I put her in the Wayfarer book as an NPC, and the game as an NPC?

but Garl is a gnoll who was kicked out of his tribe [?] as a youngin, for trying to steal treasure from the chief. it didn't go over well, and since to gnolls, it's worse to be kicked out [and Garl didn't see it that way] he was exhiled. He was picked up by a traveling merchant as a guard, and they traveled together for a while, before he too dumped him off for no apparent reason.. though Garl made sure his time was worth it, and stole some of the merchant's goods while he slept at the inn that night.
He then met a group of adventurers, aiding them as a twin weapon fighting Ranger.
He's a bit of a horny thing, and generally will bang anything that's receptive to it.. unless it's completely and totally gross. he's got a thing for ladies out of his league, and LOVES to pay lots of ladies in a brothel just to be in his company.
He's best friends with a Dwarf named Grendil, and is a Harper agent.. currently traveling through darksun.

Sure! Go ahead, I can even flesh out her character more if you need me too- I haven't yet drawn her.

A meeting of those two would be interesting. SHe'd probably reject any initial affection, believing he was just teasing her. Not to mention she might get on his nerves ^.^

and hey, she'd make a perfect companion for Edgarr too, his self esteem is just as low x3

Yeah, most people seem to forget that. Its essentially a giant, muscled living tube, so I'd imagine the food would get a heck of a massage while it slithers about. ^..~
