I decided to modify and rename species called "Ball of yarn demon"
Threads of Fate:
The creatures appear as a result of a consciousness which can originate in thread, tissue, or rag toys. They represent part of the memories and feelings of the people to whom the toys belonged.
"Threads of Fate" can often be seen with one sown eye or mouth, stitched ears or horns, and feet or hands sown onto the body. Needles pierce their bodies, sticking out from the hands, feet, and through the head. Their fingers end in long nails, not unlike needles. Oftentimes, these creatures have a thread toy close to them that symbolizes their dark side. If the adopt teams up with the toy, known as a Pet, they acquire unprecedented power. However, they lose control and become a dark, destructive force.
They like to play pranks; throwing needles, misbehaving, and interfering with stitching for example. Sometimes, if a person has achieved their favor, the Thread will become their patron instead.
Oftentimes they have a tail and two pairs of horns. Their tail and horn length varies from short to very long. It is a rare combination to see two or three tails coupled with one set of horns. Extremely rare adopts may have more than three tails. Usually these tails function as a receptacle of emotion from the many owners the doll, cloth, or thread has belonged to. More owners means more tails. This can mean that these Threads are very ancient and powerful beings.
