This highly unique necklace displays a very large bobcat paw skeleton that is perfect, undamaged and intact. The paw came from a naturally deceased specimen and is cruelty-free.
I processed and professionally cleaned the paw, and then painstakingly articulated the bones myself into a natural 'stalking' position with the claws retracted. The bones have been cemented together and hold strongly - despite appearances this is not a particularly fragile piece.
The skeleton paw was then metalized in antique bronze, using a rich palette of four color layers and a final dark stain to 'weather' the bones and bring out details. The splendid claws have been coated in a velvety layer of 18k liquid gold by hand; the gold gently reflects light and carries an inner glow as only real gold can do.
The paw hangs on a bronze 20 inch chain with lobster clasp which runs through a bronze eyelet hook that is drilled into the flat top of the wrist. The paw can easily be removed from the chain if the buyer ever wishes to put it on a different chain.
This is a very large paw by bobcat standards, measuring nearly four inches long from the top of the wrist to the tip of the furthest claw. It outspans my own palm, making for a truly impressive piece.

1. A small bronze ornate key. I have a few that are all different that you can choose from - I will send you a photo showing them all so you can pick one.
2. A short hanging length of delicate 14k gold plated circle rings, tipped with a small chip of semiprecious stone. You will get about 6-7 rings. The shining gold rings ( 2mm) will play beautifully off the golden claws. Please choose either a snowflake obsidian bead, polished blackstone chip, amethyst chip, speckled turquoise chip, golden brown tigers' eye chip or soft green jade chip as your stone.
3. A flame-red pheasant feather (narrow, pointy and undyed - the bright red is natural) which will be wired onto a small ring of bronze with a small bead of snowflake obsidian at the tip.
4. A small handmade rose (made from Sculpy) leafed in real metallic copper OR real gold - you pick. The rose will hang on a short length of bronze circle rings.
*You can double up and have two accents for an additional fee of $6!
