This amused me more than it should.. I never really knew what the word gay was for the longest time and I was role-playing gay characters and such since I was 10, I'm 22 now.. it took me forever until I actually saw Gravitation or something to realize it.

OMG! This was my very first introduction into the gayness! And I'm pretty sure I looked like this! XD I love Gravitation SO MUCH! I used to own the entire series and all of the remix series! Sadly I had to divide them among my friends before moving off to college so that my parents wouldn't find them. Oh the nostalgia!!!

I read the mangas loooong before I ever saw the series. When I say I owned the entire series I mean the paper versions. I absolutely lost my shit when I found the Anime. But I recall watching it causing me physical pain due to the shere badness of it. Eventually I owned that too. Just on principal. And a Bad Luck CD. I was obsessed...

I only owned the sailor moon movies and american dubs had toned down the gay a ton so i never ~realized~ but Gravitation was VERY straightforward about it.. No way around that one lmfao

Pffft Gravitation was my introduction into bl and yaoi also. I remember being similarly surprised, but also thoroughly fascinated, and haven't stopped loving the genre since. (Of course Loveless didn't help either, introducing me to the concept of catboys, lol)

I was also introduced in the exact same way, that series, that scene, that reaction. Though I also had a feeling of my stomach churning and dropping, but it was a feeling of excitement. And then everything got really fucking gay for the rest of my life.
