So, about seven hours off and on and I've produced this today. It's my galactic King Cheetah character, Lune, but with draconic elements. This bears a little explaining since I've been playing with her design so much and I just haven't felt fully content with anything about her.
I created her in April of last year, near my birthday. She was originally just a regular cheetah with galactic colors and markings. Her markings and colors in this image are pretty much the same as her old ones except her stripes/spots no longer have purple/pink mixed in. I wanted her to look more uniform, especially when presenting her to other artists in the event that I do art trades or commission them to draw her. Her old marking coloration was just too odd for other artists to render, I felt, and was too chaotic. Now they're a gradient of blue and bright cyan that glow in the dark.
★ Her dorsal feathers are reminiscent of crow wings in coloration and her ventral feathers reflect cosmic patterns in the sky; planets, shooting stars, etc.
★ She has draconic forearms and hind legs that are scaly and reflect bits of cyan in the light.
★ It bears noting that because of her spiritual sort of nature, she is androgynous. Female pronouns are moreso appropriate because I am female and she represents my artistic nature.
I feel like I've finally grasped the design of my most important character and I'm happy about that. She now looks more like a magical creature rather than an environmentally misplaced King Cheetah.
Kind, elusive, and mysterious just like the ever-changing cosmic abyss. ★ Lune and Art: Lune-Cheetah
