I tweaked the colors a lot afterwards to make them more cheery and bright, though perhaps it's too much? Hm, Ah well! Either way, the colors are rather vivid even in the original

Ah, I had thought the colors were edited post-scan. It's difficult for me to say whether it was too much or not. Maybe someone else can help you with that?

Yeah! This type hairnet is called a snood btw, and they're a pretty popular accessory from medieval times, actually! Usually adorned with beads and pearls and such
