Nice! Yeah, there was a blog post about Yeenoghu on WotC not too long ago, if I recall. Is this inspired by that post? I love this guy though - I use his mini for when one of my gnoll characters in Pathfinder get enlarged. One's an abyssal bloodrager, and the others are in parties with spellcasters fond of enlarge person. Good times, good times.
Not consciously -- though I'm pretty sure I saw that post, I went back and looked at all of the concept art stuff they posted for the Abyss thing over on their Tumblr (I really liked their design for Zuggtmoy). But given the fondness for gnolls he's an old favorite.
Fun fact: In the D&D universe me and my buds created, Yeenoghu is technically a minor god. His parents were Tarkan'Nala, the Mother of Monsters, and Jithrathrok, the Bloodsoaked (the worst of the three war gods), and the Tarrasque is his brother. He ate all of the others, and the gnolls were born when he vomited from gorging on so much.
