So for a little while now I've been messing around with color. This started as a random sketch, then I just kinda took off with it. I pulled out all of the traditional media, Prismacolors, felt tip pens, as well as acrylic paint, which I haven't done in quite a while.

The spots really make the image pop, and was one of the main reasons I decided I wanted to draw a lizard in the first place. It was very fun messing around with the spot placement to try and create contrast while still keeping the point of interest of the image neutral.

Any image that I put this much time into deserves a background, so when I get some free time I will hit up flickr and see what I can find. ^^
