The 36th Pathfinder Division saw deployment on many a swamp and forest planet during the Clone Wars and as such had specialized armor for those environments. Commander Karn and Lieutenant Taint answered to Jedi General Armanda Truvoe until the issuing of Order 66, though Armanda escapes her would-be killers, she lost the use of her right eye as well as losing her right arm and foot to the blast that should have ended her. Armanda used the Force to lower her life signs to such a degree that Commander Karn and his men left her for dead. After the formation of the Galactic Empire, the 36th Pathfinder Division was absorbed into the Imperial Swamptrooper Corps. Two years after the Battle of Yavin, Armanda Truvoe now working as a bounty hunter under the alias of Nurand Tuvre, took her revenge on Karn, taking his head with a vibro-axe.
