AD 000 - The Reluctant Reindeer (story reading) by peterkatt
I'm in the process of finding voice talent for narration readings of stories, hopefully to put together a furry fiction podcast. This is the first try at such a project. It's a reading of an old slice-of-life holiday-themed character drama.
Happy New Year and belated Merry Christmas!

Nice. >^_^< The reading felt a little fast in a couple of places, mostly in the dialogue exchange near the end -- for a second or two, I had trouble figuring out which of the two characters was speaking when. Beyond that, though, a cute setup and a good reading. I'm hoping to see more, too, but you already knew that. ;)
Thanks for the compliments and constructive criticism.
I think I can get the project off the ground. I have a few readers lined up and my budget looks good for the next few months at least. Getting webspace set up will take some time, but at least I can post the episodes here until that's running.
If you have a story or two you'd like to submit, that would be cool. Something in a winter theme would be good for the time, but I'm open to any good stories.

I don't have anything in the queue right now that'd be ready to send (beyond the audio 'reprint' of "Swear"), but I'd really like to write something original for audio, so I'll see what happens once the novel revision is closer to being finished. I'm definitely excited about participating as much as I can! >^_^<

Of course, it's going to be fun figuring out the "correct" pronunciation of faol, since I wasn't thinking of that when I originally wrote it.
I do also have a story developing that might work, but you'd need a female reader for it, as it's written in first person from a female POV.

It's basically like a radio show, where episodes can be downloaded automatically by software to manage the shows you're subscribed to, more info on wikipedia:

Anyway, all the story readings I have on the podcast and on https://www.anthrodreams.com will also be posted here, so you can listen to them here as well.
