Species Info
-Raquan are a aquatic mutation of raptor, created by scientists spicing raptor genes with many types of aquatic and water-side creature in a attempt to create a type of protector species that could easily act as human pets.
-Due to their type of creation, they have both the ability to live in and out of water. However due to having no fur and instead a tough hide, they are more susceptible to the cold, thus live best in warmer regions with plenty of water.
-These are primarily created to be companions to humans, and thus act much like dogs in terms of behavior, although they have a vocal communication and pack instinct similar to Velociraptors. Despite being a peaceful species, they will also protect said owners with their life, which they are often very successful at considering their average height of 4"5. They are life-time companions, having a life-span of 60-90 years.
-The "ears" on their heads, and "wings" on their backs are not actually ears and wings, but instead fin-like attachments (much similar to their tail as well as the extensions on their limbs) that help Raquans swim. These appendages can also show their mood, being raised with positive emotions, and lowered with negative ones.
-They cannot breed, however they do have genders and the notion to find an appropriate mate. Males are often very colourful to be more appealing to females.
-In diet, they are carnivores. Their jaws show this, all Raquans having very sharp teeth that both helps them consume meat and be a danger to anything that attacks them.
-Physically, most will share the same general body shapes, but their "ears", "wings", tails and fins can be completely varying between Raquan.
