Vardon is an emotional, tempermental growler with fights to pick and not enough to back it up. What he lacks in combat and worldly experience he tries to make up for in attitude and gusto. He puts on a big front and does his best, even if the outcome is bad.

He is very close to his family, and very overprotective of his half-sister, Raisa, who is more like her tunneler father than their growler mother. He does his utmost to defend her, most of his scars being lasting reminders that he isn't invincible and that he can't handle things on his own.
